Ajanta Vs ASN junior Match

Date : 2009-06-03

"The match began with Ajanta Tigers starting off as the clear favourite who were playing at this home ground, but the early goal scored by Saksham in 18th minute after the whistle turned the match on its head and set off a dramatic sequence of event to follow.

Ajanta Tigers were further humbled when Pradeep struck another blow for ASN in the 23rd minute. Tigers finally got a breather when Ritik scored a goal just before half to end the first half at 2-1. As the match started after 10 minute break and lot of discussion in the dressing rooms of both the team, the host managed to equalize the score in 34th minute when Bharat stroke in opponents' goal post and thereby eased the tension in the hosts' team.
At this point of time match started in more excitement and team mates and the audiences felt heat of the match. NowTigers were looking more confident and comfirtable with thier game. Their spirit were further strenghthen by a third consecutive strike just got-in striker Neeraj on a free-kick. This free kick was such a beautiful and well executed strike that it was considered as the moment of the match. Momemtum was clearly swinging the Ajanta way and very soon they extended their lead to 4-2 and again it came from wonderful playerfrom the hosts i.e. Ritik's feet.
Riding o a 4-2 lead, the Tigers seemed to relax and made some crucial substitutions which fell into guests' favour. ASN Devils took full advantage of it in the form of double strike by Vivek in the 56th and 70th minutes. This double strike helped the guests to manage to finish the match in a draw, therefore the final score of the match was 4-4 on the last whistle.
Inspite of the result, football emerged as the sole winner in this nerve wrecking battle."

Ajanta Tigers vs Indirapuram Titans

"On friday evening, the stage was set for a Titanic battle between the Titans and the Tigers.
Ajanta Tigers were all charged and fired up for the gruelling contest between the champion sides. On the other hand, Indirapuram Titans led by skipper Kshitij though slightly fatigued by their long journey were up to the challenge of facing the tigers.

At 17:45 hrs, finally the whistle blew and the battle began. Indirapuram Titans took home an early advantage by scoring the 1st goal of the match when Prajuwal sent one on flying past the diving goal-keeper of the Tigers. Ajanta Tigers were quick to follow equalizing soon... but the titans pulled up their socks and were back in the game. Thanks to a wonderful goal scored by ________ to gain the upper hand at half time with score reading 2-1 in favor of Titans.
Tigers came back strongly in the second half to level the score 2-2. This time it was Aashish who converted a good ball for the tigers.
Further drama unfolded on the pitch when guests started having their share of injuries on the field. The titans were taken back when their skipper Kshitij got hurt and had to be taken off the field for treatment. Clearly the visitors were under great pressure, but showed great spirit and managed to keep the tigers attack at bay.
Their spirit were further strengthened when the skipper made a miraculous comeback to the field which helped the guest team scoring a late goal and clinch the match.

The man of the match was awarded to the right winger from the visiting team i.e. Vyom Sinha who made most of the successful moves for their strikers and showed a beautiful and skillful game.
But credit should also be given to the coaches and parents who turned up in large number to give their full support and make the match feel special to all the players."

Ajanta triumphs in style

Date : 2009-05-18

Monday 18th May, 2009 was a big day for wizom football academy as its Gurgaon team i.e. Ajanta Tigers emerged out as the new talent and new threat for other center too as they took on Ahlcon Bulls.
The tie between Ajanta Tigers and Ahlcon Bulls ended as an unexpected and shocking result, as the hosts Ajanta Tigers defeated the guests 7-2. It was completely the game of the hosts.

Jatin Arora and Neeraj Chawla were the two heros this great win. Jatin scored the first goal in 12th and scored two more in 26th and 57th minutes showing a beautiful and skillful game. Neeraj joined Jatin as the scorer in the second half as he scored in 45th and 51st minutes. The other scorer from the hosts was Ajay as he scored in 71st minute.
Although it was one sided game but some how the guests managed scoring two goals. These were by Shantam in 53rd and in 65th minutes by Chetan. It was a watchable game as all tigers were showing spirit of football and proved again that football is a team game.
On winning the first game against an experienced opponent, the winning captain thanks the team mates and said it was a team win as every player played sensibly and tried their best.
